WiFi Calling on Galaxy S7 Edge with EE - does it support SMS

Quick question...

I have 0 signal at home, so am looking to get a cheap pay-monthly sim-only plan so I can take advantage of WiFi calling.

Once WiFi calling is enabled, will SMS also work through that?

The business website for EE says it supports it but this is one of those thing's i'd check with EE customer services. You'd check by sending an SMS with no telco radio network coverage (airplane mode with wifi on might work).

Will ask EE later, but it's one of thone things I bet they'd say yes and it'd end up not working or they'd say no and it does in fact work

SMS works on the iPhone with WiFi calling..

Just tested this on my s7 edge, Btu, with EE contract sim

Phone on plane mode. Wifi on, and wifi calling enabled, sms sends and receives fine. (Instantly)
