Mrs. Feek has an iPhone 6S, I have a 6S+

We're both on EE. We both have WiFi calling enabled.

Her phone shows this.

Mine doesn't.

Anyone know why this would be?

They called me a few months ago and told me to turn it on. I didn't even realise the display was supposed to change until I looked at Mrs. Feek's phone this evening.

So what's the crack then, can you use the wifi calling as much as you like ?

WiFi calling means that you can make calls over WiFi when you don't have a mobile signal. You still get charged at your normal network rate.

Feek - It took Vodafone a couple of attempts to enable it on my account. Try ringing them again?

Yeah, we're both on pay monthly, in fact we're on the same contract sharing minutes and data. EE actually called me a few months ago and suggested I turn it on because I have reasonably poor coverage at home!

I'll pop into the local shop at lunchtime.

Went into the local EE shop, they checked and my account is all enabled, they couldn't see why it wasn't working. So they've removed the feature, told me to leave it switched off on the phone for 24 hours and re-enable it, see if that forces it to start.

Yes. I'm fully up to date. In fact, I think I originally enabled the option on my previous phone but it never showed up.

I'll try switching back on when the 24 hours has elapsed.
