Hi all, have just moved house and need to get an adapter - is there any difference between the performance of a pci adapter card versus a usb one? I think we have this Belkin Router atm - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=NW-021-BE&groupid=46&catid=116&subcat=

What would you suggest for a cheap adapter? Is it really necessary to use a belkin adapter for it, like http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=NW-007-BE&groupid=46&catid=116&subcat=

or could I get away with using the cheaper Linksys without any great difference in performance? http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=NW-074-LS&groupid=46&catid=116&subcat=

Personnally i don't like using USB WIFI adapters unless its needed (like your not confident opening up your pc) USB devices take up system resources, and in my experience they can cause trouble.

Go for either of the two cards, you'll get the belkin software with the belkin card if you want that, but its only a wireless card, picking up a signal, id go for the cheapest one.
