wifi & control panel gpo

Hi

I need to stop kids at a youth centre messing laptops that are part of a server 2008 domain.

1) Is it possible to create a GPO to stop them connecting to other wifi networks?

2) If I use a GPO to disable access to the control panel will this cause any problems?

1) Yes - http://www.grouppolicy.biz/2010/03/...te-list-wireless-networks-in-vista-windows-7/ Basically it involves creating black and white lists... I've used it and it does work, but a bit fiddly to get going.

2. Locking control panel should be ok.

I used to sort out the IT in libraries and they went as far as disabling right clicks, stopped editing control panel etc...
