WiFi extender recommendation

Hi my sister has asked me for help with her virgin WiFi, which doesn’t reach to the furthest rooms and she doesn’t want cables, so asking on here for some help on what to recommend, she has been looking at netgear n300 type things, so any help appreciated ?

My conscience won't let me recommend an extender (too many problems with them personally). If she doesn't wan't wires would she consider a mesh system? Tenda, TP-Link and BT have some reasonably priced solutions.
