I've been given the unenviable task of sourcing some kind of wireless interface card for my fiancee's dad's Xmas present. Every year it's something like this :)

Anyway: he has a Toshiba SP4360, and as far as I can tell that means he has two options: a USB or a PC Card wireless adaptor. Given the price difference between (for example) the USB and PC Card options on the OCUK site, is it a no-brainer? Or is the cheapest USB option still viable, do you think?

I hate laptops. Sooo inflexible ;)

On a laptop of that age, a pc card would be a better bet. If you do go for USB, make sure you can get drivers as support for windows 9x is often limited.
