Hi,

I had a superhub 3 installed a short while ago and its really struggling with my thick walls and floors (live in an old house). I've got a virgin booster but to be honest that makes little difference.

Can anyone recommend a router which can cope with thick walls & floors?

Cheers

Stop and consider what you've told us, thick walls and floors, no router can legally exceed the power limits imposed and you can't alter the physical construction of the house, so going with another AIO device that's likely in a less than optimal location is not the answer here. Instead consider running feeds and fitting AP's, it'll give you the coverage you want, clearly mesh is a bad idea for the same reasons wifi doesn't work well.

I've ran a cable from the virgin hub 3 to a bt smart hub (hh6) works well at boosting WiFi throughout the house. I've only got two floors however.
