I've just moved house and switched from an F2S ADSL service to virgin media's cable broadband so my adsl modem/router is useless and i need to upgrade.

I had an xbox wired up to the router but thats not possible with my new place so i've been looking at buying one of these Linksys WGA54G and using it to connect the xbox to the network. So whatever router i go for has to be compatable with it.

anyway i'm not that up on routers/networking, i know linksys and netgear are supposed to be good makes but thats about it. I was looking at these 3 :

Linksys WRT54GL - £35
Netgear KWGR614 54Mbps - £41
Netgear WGT624 108Mbps - £55

has anyone got any recommendations on which will give me the best signal reliabitity and which is gonna be reasonably easy to set up? I want to stream music over the network from my computer so obviously i don't want it dropping all the time etc.

Also with the 108Mbps router, do you think i'll have any problems getting the xbox adapter to work with it since its 54Mbps? wasn't sure if it might be a bit over the top getting a 108Mbps one if the adapter couldn't handle it.

cheers :)
