WiFi Security Cameras?

I know there are some CCTV experts here... After some recent car vandalism I am in the market for a CCTV system for my house.

I'm looking for something that has one or two cameras, outdoor, wifi and can be hooked up to a PC. There seems to be dozens of cameras offering this on ebay but can anyone recommend anything in particular?

Any reason for WiFi?

You are going to need to power it anyway so a cable run should not be too difficult?

Unless the run back to a switch/router is not possible I say go for a POE unit with an inline power adapter then you only need the single cable. Plus, working with Cat5 is easy!

well i suppose it doesn't have to be wifi, just thought it'd be easier really...

POE is that the brand or an abbreviation

If using POE, do I need a unit on both ends of the cable, or just at the switch/hub?

If by unit you mean a PoE injector, no just one the switch side. All you need to do with the camera is plug the network cable in and it will power up.
