Looking forward to october :)

Until Nintendo officially reveal the pricing, all the preorder prices on sites will be speculative.... Everything is mean't to be unveiled sometime in September.

First i've heard about a price for the Wii and if it is around £150 i'll scrape together my student funding to be able to afford one for definate. Hope Mario Kart and Smash Brothers comes out sharpish for it.

I can't imagine the games being £50
the whole idea of the Wii's design was for games to be cheaper to make, thats why's its basically the same as the GC but simply faster?

Shopto.net is actually a good site for cheap games, but like stated above I doubt very much that they would get more than a handfull of the Wii.

u say £50 is over priced but 360 games are going for that unless u using the internet/superstores remember where you can get them for £40! Im gonna get one on launch day

Yeah, £50 is overpriced.

Wii games won't cost that much, Nintendo has said they're aiming for the same prices as Gamecube games. Around £30-£40 and hopefully small indie games and toys available online for a few quid.

i would refuse to pay 50 for 360 as well. Just isnt enough in the games to justify when can get pc games for 30quid

Xbox 360 Games are £50 , pc games such as (Guildwars Factions) is also (was) £50 so whats the deal! the wii is £200 - £300 cheaper than any game console on the market (newgen) tbh prices will drop as the newgens come out same as any old game / console / handheld

Ive yet to pay over £35 for a 360 game new. Admittedly thats using vouchers and pre orders from various places, or made me sign up accounts to a catalogue. I certainly would never pay £50 for a 360 game. I'm sure the same will apply to the Wii. Book price £50 reality £35.

Factions was £50

Most i've every paid for a game was CoD2 (£40) for PC on release day.

Wouldn't pay that usually either, £30-£35 would be top I would be willing to pay for Wii games or any other games for that matter, with the odd exception every now and then of course.

I'll buy a Wii for £150, but I won't buy games for £50. They may start at £50 while it's brand new because that's business, but I'd expect the pricing to level out to the £30 level at which point I'd buy lots :)

I don't expect to see Wii games at anymore than £40, even at launch. I'm 99% sure I only ever paid £40 for my GC launch games.
