the wii is £200 - £300 cheaper than any game console on the market (newgen) tbh prices will drop as the newgens come out same as any old game / console / handheld
Erm, I'm not sure where you're buying your XB360's from, but they're definitely not £350! £80 to £120 more (less if you shop around), depending on which version. However, I take you're point that it is far cheaper than the other 2. :p

Factions was £50

Most i've every paid for a game was CoD2 (£40) for PC on release day.

Wouldn't pay that usually either, £30-£35 would be top I would be willing to pay for Wii games or any other games for that matter, with the odd exception every now and then of course.
my cod 2 was 27 quid on release day
:S

and seriously we are talking about nintendo here, they wont allow the games to be 50 quid

Will definitely buy one of these for £150.

Suspect if the games are RRP at £50 they'll no doubt be £40 on the web.

£50 - no chance.

Nintendo will have learned from the success of the DS , make something good and cheap and it will sell. I would doubt very much if Wii games retail for over £40, and even then thats a bit steep.

pfft N64 Perfect Dark £50 + the memory pack you needed and that was nearly ten years ago, I didnt even have a job then, thank god for nice grandparents.

think i might grab one of these on release day for some good old student halls multiplayer fun :D

Xbox 360 Games are £50 , pc games such as (Guildwars Factions) is also (was) £50 so whats the deal! the wii is £200 - £300 cheaper than any game console on the market (newgen) tbh prices will drop as the newgens come out same as any old game / console / handheld

I bought Factions for 24.99 on release, with it soon dropping to 17.99. I have no idea where you bbought it from or saw it but I would avoid that site if i were you :p

£50 is too much for a game, plain and simple. I have a 360, with several games, none of which i payed more than £30 for (I admit to using play asia and the MM for most of them ;) ). Anyone who pays £50 for a game either has way too much money or needs to shop around a little but ;)

Factions collectors edition was £50, regular edition was £17.99 in most stores, so its only the die hards that'll pay silly money like that.

But anyway, i doubt that Wii games will be anything more than £35 or so, charging top dollar goes against the way nintendo is heading. I think the £50 games you're seeing in online stores are an artificially high price because they have no clue, then once the real mpricing is unveiled they'll send customers who pre-ordered an e-mail saying they've knocked £15 off the price because they're such a good company.

PR gimmick for the win... ;)
