brand new from a shop, do i buy it now or wait till after xmas and hope stock gets better and prices go down?

Think I've seen this bundle. Great deal imo. Probably the two best games for the console as part of a bundle when the Wii is so scarce.

Certainly beats Billy the Wizard and all the other nonsense stock that stores are trying to get rid of with the Wii.

Wait. You would be silly not to.

Aye thats what I'm doing. I really want to play Mario Galaxy but I'm not helping Nintendo / Retailers out by buying at silly prices. I'll leave that to unfortunate parents that have to have one for their children for Christmas.

Indeed. I feel the pain for the unfortunate parents that are shelling out £300+ on a Wii. Just to satisfy there kids for christmas :p.

Depends what the games are. If they are chart games then yes. If they are games like ninjabread man etc then i would carefully consider waiting.

If it's the bundle that I've seen, then the games are Mario Galaxy, Resident Wii-vil and Harry Potter OOTF. Two great and one pretty good.

£280 aint bad,

Retail Wii price: £180
Wii games: £30ish each...

Pretty ok price really, tad over "ideal RRP" but nowhere near a rip off.

if you want a Wii, and likethe idea of the games in that bundle, i'd take it.

GAME near me got over 50 Wii's delivered the other day & was selling them at £230 with 3 games ;)
They're out of stock again now though...

The bundle also comes with a charging station for the Wii-motes, meaning it's selling for pretty much bang on RRP.

yeah we worked it out at pretty much spot on RRP, and had a look on a trade in site and they would actually give more trade in that the price of he bundle lol

Thing is though when you buy a bundle you expect to save some money, thats what bundles are for :p

I was in "Kost-Zero" (Edited for competition rules) last weekend.. They got Wii for retail prices of £179.99 and plenty of stock.. If anyone is interested.. I picked up 3 myself for my nephew and sisters.

It depends what the three games you get are. I have seen a lot that come with rubbish games.

(As for OcUK's price, did any UKR readers see OcUK made the headlines? If you don't know what I am talking about, the web site is here: http://www.ukresistance.co.uk/ and might not be everybody's cup of tea. So don't take it too seriously.)

Its very hard to find them at RRP but they are out there, I got lucky last night with a very large company. Its just a case of refreshing the page at the right time.

And during the frustrating search I have become increasingly annoyed with the majority of retailers out there charging ridiculous prices against the RRP due to 'stock shortages'. Any of them in my favorites have been removed and won't be used again, thankyou very much. :)
