I am able to get one for a cut price - about 130 notes although it's second hand(but in like new condition) and i need some advice.

I already have a 360 but i am the only one that plays it. It doesn't really appeal to anyone else in my family.

Now i have played the Wii about 3 times now, in long stints at other peoples houses and i find the more people there are the better the experience. I find bowling is probably the most entertaining game for me, but i fear that i may just get bored easily once or *if* the novelty wears off and i will end up with just a paperweight.

To be honest i don't see anything much that really catches my eye with regards to the wii's game lineup. The most attractive title to me besides wii sports up till now has been RE4. The real thing that excites me is the potential of the wii controller and sports games like cricket and to be honest i have only ever owned two nintendo consoles: the n64 and GBC which i never really got into.

I seem to be making a strong case against getting the Wii for myself but i wish i felt the other way, i really like wii sports and thats why i want the wii right now.

What should i do? What sort of games can i look forward to? It's very tempting..

£130 ! Do it you can probs flog it for more if you get bored tbfh
At their current scarceness get it, see if you like it and then sell it on if you don't

It's definately a social console - more people the better but in all honestly I love playing wii sports golf on my own :D

Get it and flog it on if you get bored, really can't go wrong for that price! ;)

Best £130 you'll spend - and as Fini said, flog it on if it bores you after a few weeks. I think it's great fun - splash out about £30 on Super Mario Charged Football (or whatever its actually called), its great in multiplayer mode. After you've mastered Wii Sports of course! :)

Yeh go for it. I've been the same, been pondering on the idea for a few months but I bit the bullet today and bought one. I like the idea that it's something my missus can play also, and after playing it today for a few hours she loves it.
Not many games for myself I fancy for it though, only RE4, Zelda and S&TSR. I have, however, been looking on eBay for the last hour picking out loads of Gamecube games to buy. Ones I've owned in the past but really want to play again! :D
