Hi there,

I have successfully connected my wii to the internet...

However how do I setup online gaming? So if I want to play someone at Mario Kart perhaps a random person I dont know then what do I do?

Please can someone provide me with a step by step guide, I dont mind if its brief. All guides I have found on google only show how to get the wii hooked up to the net and not how to play games online...

Are there also games that you do not require the disk for i.e. chess or whatever which you can connect to on a server?

Please advise

Thanks in advance

With Mario Kart, once your console is connected to the net all you need to do is select the online mulitplayer option in game. You get given three choices, play people on your friends list, play local (no sure if thats just UK or all of the EU) and play internationally (ie anyone else in the world). I only ever played with people in the International list and when I did this it just picked random people who are also looking for a game and sticks you all together. There is no chat (voice or otherwise) and the players vote on what the next track will be.

MK is the only Wii game I have played online so I cant say if other games give you more options or if its the same. As Nintendo like to be kiddie friendly I would assume that no online game would be difficult to set up online though :)
