It's cheaper to buy the original Wii Fit and the Solus version of Wii Fit Plus I've heard.
Bought a Wii Fit from the place that uses orange carrier bags last week for £50. Can't get the bloody Mrs off it now!
I'm pretty sure that wii fit plus is wii fit with additional stuff. So you wouldn't need the original as wii fit plus includes it plus more...

My missus and I have both so only got wii fit plus on it's own, but from what I can gather wii fit plus contains all the wii fit original stuff, so you you wouldn't need both.

But it's cheaper to buy the original balance board + wii fit plus (software) than wii fit plus.
