Wii Fit - Who`s Ordered?

With the recent MK threads, there seems to be enough Wii owners for this to be worthy of discussion.

I`ve ordered one, mainly because the missus wanted it, but also because i`m curious. Yes, it may be a bit gimmicky, but it also looks good fun. I have a PC for serious gaming, so i don`t care about realism, graphics etc. The Wii has already provided me and the missus with hours of enjoyment, and I`m hoping Wii Fit will too. Some of the minigames look OK, including the Ski Jumping and Slalom games.

With lots of games currently in development to utilise the board (According to Nintendo), I`m looking forward to this.

Thoughts ?

My missus wanted one too, but there's no way we are prepared to pay that much. I've heard the games you get aren't actually that good either.

Seems like it might be a bit like Wii Play, people will buy it in the hope the accesory is used for better things later on.

Same here really, although I'll admit to liking the look of it too... :o

Im the same, my wife and kids would use it, but its hideously expensive at the moment for what is basically a fitness monitor.
 
My GF also wants this, but haven't pre ordered and it seems nowhere is taking pre orders for it anymore. Guess we will pick it up late though.
 
I am going to risk buying it on the day if possible as I don't want to receive it late if I got it from the net. Problem being stock :)
 
will probably get around to buying it at one point, hope it doesn't turn out like Wii Play, Tanks is the only thing worth looking at on that (in 2 player, it rocks)
 
Got it preordered for about £50 with a little extra Quidco so I think at that price its ok, lass wants it so thats about all there is to it :D
 
I haven’t bothered with it yet. it cost way too much though it does look cool and there it potential for some awesome games using the balance board. Hopefully some one on here will do a review tread when they have it to let us know what its like.:)
 
I've just left the car at home and started walking instead. Thats better for me, my pocket, the environment & my front room carpet ;)
 
Got to admit ive got one preordered, it is very expensive for what it is but then I was shocked that i had to pay £45 for an extra controller and nunchuck too.
 
Wait for some Games that incorporate it, The Wii Fit game that comes with it sounds like a few cheap laughs a bit like Wii Play, wont be anywhere near as fun as Wii Sports.

I would genuinely wait for a new 1080/SSX game or something that will get some use out of it.
