Heres some live footage of the people at gamespot playing the nintendo wii. There currently playing 4 player super monkey ball. It says they will be playing lots of different games all day.

I missed the beginning.. have they played zelda yet? if not why they are all pretending to be so interested this supermonkeyball game.. BRING OUT THE ZELDA !!!!

edit.. While I was typing they changed it to wii sport, but still no zelda

I'm guessing they're saving that because once that goes in they won't have the willpower to put on any other games

No i'm thinking the same, my wife will love it but i see myself getting bored in about 15 minutes.

Bowling looked a bit iffy with it going to the left every time, but golf is working well, looks fun

The minigames bored me on the DS too but I really want to see how the FPS games and driving games work on it!.

My wife will love that sports game and any other gimic type games like that they bring out. I severly tempted to try to get hold of one for her for christmas.

Trouble is there aint a lot else like that. So she would probably only have that game for a while and thats quite a bit of cash for one game

Well there's another game coming out at launch, Wii Play or something which will have another bunch of 'gimmick' games, some of them look fun like a shooting duck-hunt style one.

I wouldn't rule out getting one for yourself yet, much more so than these minigames I'm looking forward to seeing how things like Trauma Centre (surgery game) and Red Steel play with the controller.

I think with these types of minigames they'll be a lot of fun for the first hour or so, and after that they'll probably just be played as party games with a bunch of friends every once in a while. Time will tell

it does look like they're getting a lot more used to the controller now and it's just been an hour or so.

Yeah I see it as a party tool. I like the way the two fat guys can't even be bothered to stand up, they have defo bagged the couch
