Wii for gamecube games?

Has anyone else bought any gamecube games yet for use on the wii??
Ive just bought all the resident evils for it 0,1,2,3+4 and i cant wait to play them .

Just need to get myself a GC pad and Memory card and im away! ohhhh and a wii

i've recently started playing all the gamecube games ive missed out on, knowing that i'll be able to play them on the wii when its out.

I've got mario sunshine, metroid 1 + 2 and luigi's mansion to get through

Well mario sunshine is my next purchase i think because that was a fantastic game!

Yeah i've bought a few rares amongst others ready for the Wii.

Hes prolly trying to say that the Wii is a GC so you can get a Wii for 20 notes, at a guess..

Indeed it is, especially in PAL format which I think it will need to be as no confirmation on if the Freeloader disk works on Wii yet.

Been stocking up on some games I missed out on when I got rid of my Cube.
Just bought Metroid Prime 2, Zelda Four Swords and Donkey Konga with the bongos (on its way to me as we speak

)
Still after a couple like RE4 and that Tales of Symphonia above

I actually never thought about getting GC game for my future Wii even tho I know it is backward capatible, guess the thought escaped me.

Will definately be buying Fire Emblem for it then, I loved the GBA series.

Can the Wii classic joypad be used on GC games or do I have to buy a GC pad for it?

I still got my PAL copy of ToS that I have had since it was released a couple of years back. It's an excellent game.
