Got me a Wii before chritmas and loving Wii sports, raving rabbids is a let down I'm not into it much at all. Where are the games? the AAA titles? Warioware smooth moves is out Friday...but i dont know if I want this game. A decent starwars game and Mario Kart is what i want. The line up looks medicore at best. :(

Just like the PS3 and 360 launch lineup then?

I really enjoyed Zelda and Red steel. Wii Sports also kept be hooked but then I mostly play multiplayer.

I'm still waiting on some good single player oriented games, too many party and multiplayer games coming out.
That's what the Wii is all about though, Social gaming.

I'd like to see some more developed sports games like boxing and golf. EA are bringing tiger woods out at some point a boxing game would be sweet.

Resident evil please.

I'm waiting for 6 months, to see if anything else comes out, before i buy a Wii. I'll settle for going round to other peoples houses and playing with their Wii for the mean time. I do enjoy Billiards that comes with Wii play, if there was just a bit more depth in some of the games in Wii Sports and Wii play I would actively seek a Wii.

I played a couple games on Raving rabbits and found it a bit too child like for me, one for pre-teens, and I pulled several muscles in my shoulder trying to throw daisy the cow :( .

I too was dissapointed by Rayman - am looking forward to WarioWare as the presentation looks really good, whereas Rayman stank of Multi-format.

Have finished Zelda (awesome), and played Wii:Sports and Wii:Play a fair bit.

Excite truck is out mid february, and Mario Party 8 and SSX Blur are out in March. Am looking forward to those 3.

But this is what happens when you buy a console at launch.

I'm afraid that's what you get when you buy a console on release, lack of games :(

True, but I'm keeping myself out of trouble with the VC games and a few gamecube games, so I won't complain on that score.

From memory Kameo, Condemned, PGR3 and COD2 was not a weak line up was it? I thought they were all great.

I couldn't get into Zelda, loved sports though. Will try Zelda again when I pick up a cheap Wii.

The Wii in our house got plenty of use first week, don't think it's been switched on since New Years Day. The novelty wore off for me and even my 9 year old son hasn't bothered with it. That's with 2 controllers and these games:

Zelda, Rayman, Happy Feet, Wii Sports, Wii Play

Haven't tried Zelda yet though as I'm wanting to finish Oblivion first, can't be bothered playing two RPG's at once.

Really?!

I never played the DS one so I think I'll get it.

Very hard game (still good), tho the Wii version is meant to have a difficulty setting.

As for what games to get for a Wii i would suggest Zelda and Red steel.

Really? I played Red Steel today and it was abysmal, 4-5 out of 10 at best, shocking A.I., cack story, framerate dips at times, even the sword combat isn't great. I really want a Wii as its a fantastic piece of hardware but i think im going to hold off until Mario comes out. I just dont think the games are there to justify it, id only really get Zelda at the moment (and wii play for an extra controller, even iff the minigames aren't great).
