After the launch of China Wars on the DS, does any1 have news on a Wii GTA release?

Its been a painfully long wait, I need my full screen GTA fix but im not buying the dying Xbox just to play a GTA game.

I think it will depends on the sales of gta DS, if the game sell well, i think then they might make a gta game for the wii.

Firstly, it's spelt anyone. Secondly, no, there has been no news and I doubt the Wii hardware could handle GTA 4. Perhaps one day a Chinatown Wars style game, but I've heard no rumours.

That is how I read it as well, which seems an odd thing to say.

It would need to be a game built from the ground up to run on wii, not just a port of 4

There doesn't seem to much appetite for mature games on the Wii despite the small hardcore group having a loud voice. Sales of Mad World have been appalling, apparently. Thanks to Louise Redknapp, it's the pregnant mother's who are buying Wii's and are just sticking to WiiFit and that's it. LOL.

Nintendo very rarely make a violent game, I doubt Nintendo could every sell out and have a game on their console that shows, drug taking, mindless murder and prostitution.

Nintendo do need the money either.
