just looked on my isp homepage and it says there maybe a hdd in developement for the wii . nice you could d/load shed loads of games

Depends on how its used, if it like the sd card slot where it is used to back up files then I don’t see the point, but if you can store and access/use the files then I’m all for it.
 
It could make use of the USB ports, so I don't see why not. It would be good if they made it the shape of the stand, so that the console sits on it as opposed to having it as a separate unit.

For the moment, I'm just waiting for the online games to appear.

I can't wait for all the whiners on here, it will be a repeat of mario kart and "snaking is cheating, it was never in any other MK" despite only 1 mario kart not having it in.
