Wii Keyboard

hi guys.
was just thinking if anyone has any idea if there is an official wii keyboard out yet. or i herd that you could put any usb keyboard into the wii and it would work. Is this right?

seem to remember reading a while ago that some USB keyboards work with the wii and the Opera browser thats on it??

plug one in and try it

Yeah the v3 firmware update which broke my Gamecube Freeloader introduced support for a whole bunch of USB keyboards. I'd have rather they'd kept Freeloader working, tbh.

Sorry to go OT, but when did that come out and is it possible to just not download it?

Came out several months ago now. The update is also included on games, so when you first insert the disc it updates your firmware. I think those nasty pirates have some way around it but I've not modded my Wii so wouldn't know anything about that and we'd best not talk about it anyway.

Datel have released a new Freeloader that seems to work and hasn't been blocked, so I'm keeping an eye on that as I have a number of US Gamecube games I imported. I think someone on here was using one to play SSBB... might have been Kreeeeee.
