Where from if your allowed to tell us? :)
Not sure, probably from gamestation when you can pre order it. Aslong as it is under £200, I'll be ordering it.

Just noticed that Super Mario Galaxy was not on the list, I thought that this was meant to be a launch title.
edit: nm just saw the article saying that mario will miss launch. :(

I'll try to update the list when if new launch titles are announced.

Is the Wii backwards compatible?

I'm thinking on getting a cube second hand but really only for Twin Snakes as the copy of MGS (PS) I picked up looks horrendous lol

Yeah wii's backwards compatible theres a gamecube disk slot in it and space for the memory cards and pads :)
Seriously? I didnt think it was GC compatible. Maybe I was just looking at which games were downloadable. If it is compatible with the GC games, Im buying one. Simple as that. Been so many times Ive nearly bought another GC to play games that came out after I sold mine.

Flap on the left of the wii disk slot is for GC games

Pads and memory cards go in under flap in on the top :)

Gamecube games go in the standard slot loading drive too, it takes both the 8cm Gamecube discs and the 12cm Wii discs.

Quote Nintendo tech specs: Media: A single self-loading media bay will play single- or double-layered 12-centimeter optical discs for Wii, as well as 8-centimeter Nintendo GameCube discs.

OMG

i didn't no it was backwards compatible either! i was already sold when i saw the E3 conference but now ........ holy crap will this be good.

off that list i want

metroid
Zelda
Wii sports
monkey ball
metal slug (omg this will be sweet for retro fun)

I'll be going with;

yeah, no doubt its an amazing bit of kit (with interestingly the lowest spec yet we're all drooling about it). As always with Nintyits the package - great looking console, great launch titles, fun new angle with the controller and it plays NES, SNES, N64 and GC games. OMFG need i say anymore? What? less than £200? Why thankyou i'll have 2!
