wii monopoly not saving

Hey, anybody got this game? We got it the other day and have played it several times and everytime we turn it on after unlocking a new board its not there, it goes back to loading up our one of the first games saying we are on level 1 of the passport but we've played 2 games and unlocked 2 boards yet when we turn it on the next day they are gone???

Its supposed to autosave according to the instruction manual but.....

Any help would be mucho appreciated cheers.

Is it possible to fight with your sister? rob the bank (sister) hide money under the board? and smash the whole thing up when you inevitable lose your patience due to spiraling debts?

If so then it sounds monopoly to me
