I'm thinking about which Wii game would be best for when you have people over and want some multiplayer mayhem?

I'm undecided between Wii play, Rayman Raving Rabbids or Super Monkey Ball. Excluding the extra value of the added remote with Wii play, for out and out fun for 2-4 players, which one would you guys recommend?

Thx.

wii sports is better than wiiplay tbh. most peopel will tell you they only got wiiplay because it came with the wiimote. Its more of a learning exercise than a fun game. wiisports, whilst still pretty basic, is so damn fun with 3 or 4 people. you can waste HOURS in a group playing it:) i cant comment on rayman or monkey ball, dont have either of them lol

When I bought my Wii from a big toy shop, Wii Play was in plentiful supply - as were classic controllers and other 'rare' items. Although there were no cables at all.

Wii Play is reasonable for a fiver if you need a Wiimote. Tanks, target shooting, laser hockey, Pose Mii and billiards are quality though.

Looking to rent Raving Rabbids in the near future... then maybe buy it :D

Just took the Wii in to work today, rigged it up to the work plasma. The whole office was taking it in turns to play Wii sports for the afternoon, it's more fun than Wii play. However Wii play comes with an extra controller for only £2 more than a std controller (well it did at launch) so you might as well get it anyway.

Now half the office have Wii's on order, it's that good.

Bet you couldn't do that with the PS3 when it comes out :p

Haha nope :) It's the way you interact with the games, even people that don't play normal consoles love it, especially the social aspect of it all. Cant see PS3 touching this in the range of people it will appeal to. 360 already has pretty much cornered the PS3 play style territory now as well. Tough times ahead for Sony.

Bought Wii Play today, got it mainly for the remote, but my dad seems keen to get involved with the fishing mini game. Didnt actually get around to playing it lol, mum dad and sis all joined in with games of tennis bowling and baseball. Extremely good playing with 2 controllers, last night i was contemplating selling it for profit but now ive got the 2nd controller it aint going no where. Now i must seek a component cable!
