Anyone used it?

Really thinking about getting myself one and wouldn't mind boshing Fifa with other real people if I can't get any mates round or whatever.

You can download their back catalogue can't you?

Their virtual console is good, but it cost money to download old games. but it's a great way to get a game you missed/love when you were younger, this include lots of SEGA games too.

The online multiplyer is very limiting compare to XBL thou, the friends code is not as easy, and there is no tracker to when was our friends last online like XBL. You can sent messages thou and the Wii lights up this blue run on the Disc slot when you get a message too.

I've played Street Fighter II on my mate's Wii, thoroughly enjoyable! :D

The online experience on Mario Strikers was touch-n-go, and definately not as reliable as 360 or PS3 experiences I've had in the past!

Finding a game with someone that didn't lag was annoying at first, but not enough to warrant a "don't buy it" from me.. very good when it was working :)

Aye I didn't think it would really compare to Xbox live (the part I find most tempting about the Xbox) but I was just wondering if anyones used it to play other people?

I'll be buying a Wii for the crazy games with the new controller mostly, but some Fifa will probably get thrown in ha-ha.

What bugs me most is some game makers tends to over use the wiimote as a feature to add to gaming. Some of them just an annoyance instead of adding to game play, where the traditional joypad style are much preferred.
