Wii Output Question

Hi,

Does anyone know if the Wii will have DVI or VGA output suitable for a wide screen TFT monitor?

So far a dedicated cable for either of those option hasnt been announced im afraid.
The best bet is to get the extra component cables and a vga component switching box, I think I will be doing this until a better solution arrives.

Only one I've seen is a Madcatz one due out around Feb07 from an American store, but other than that, nowt.

I think it will be a case of demand. I think Nintendo will perhaps feel that providing Component, RGB and Composite would be enough. I don't think they've 100% considered - or perhaps dismissed - that people would like to play Wii on a monitor or over VGA when component is available.

A shame if they don't, even if it's a little 'niche'.

Composite. Though RGB Scart and Component are available to buy at launch for about £15 each.
