wii overheating ?

my wii has started to get red/black screen coruption like little sparkies.

what should i do,got it from the jersey company online.

Nope, never had that problem and our Wii has had plenty of marathon sessions over the past 10 months.

Still under warranty so start with the retailer otherwise contact Nintendo directly and see what their suggestion is.

My brother had a similar problem, twas the gfx card, he just phoned Nintendo and arranged to send it back. I'm sure they sent him a new one as his friend code changed.

I think it is this number, got it from the Nintendo site: 0870 6060 247, its a national rate number.

The number will be in the back of any games manual for any Wii games.

cool just spoke to them and very helpfull, they are sending me a prepay label to return the console to them have a look at it. by all accounts its quite common and MIGHT be to do with leaving wiiconnect24 on and not booting up for periods of time as it heats up and the fans don't come on. hmm wonder if i get a new or repair job? Just glas I haven't chipped it yet !

I got a spanking new one, bet you will too as it's hard to just replace the GPU. I don't think we're allowed to mention modding though.
