Girlfriends just got a Wii,

Linked it all up to the tv by the scart lead/adaptor that it comes with and the tv is only displaying it as CVBS and not RGB do I have to buy another lead to get it to work at a better quality?

Using it on a 32inch LCD (with only VGA Scart and HDMI ports)

Yes, you need an RGB scart cable, the one in the box is just composite which understandably will look horrid on your type of TV.

If you can't do component, which is the ideal way of connecting it to an LCD TV, I think you can get unofficial VGA leads. Pretty sure Kreeeee has one and recommends it :)

You must have component ports on the Television. I've never seen a HD Ready TV without them.
That's what you'll want, picture with component is a lot better.

Definitely no component ports :(

I have had a look around and cant seem to find any VGA leads if anyone's got any information where I might find out it would be appreciated :)

Thanks for the advice,
Went with a RGB Scart lead as I already have 2 things connected to one VGA port :)

You will probably see some improvement, but don't expect miracles with what is a budget TV that probably doesn't handle SD input too well anyway.
