Wii Problem - Changing TV Source

I'm having a problem with my Wii, it seems to change the source of my TV when playing.

My Wii is connected via Component and when playing it changes the TV back over to Scart 1 (Which is my Virgin Media connection) every few minutes.

Slightly annoying since I can't play it for long without interruption!

Anyone know of a way I can stop this?
 
it sounds like it's probably a TV issue rather than Wii one.

Does the TV have an option to disable auto switching?
It might also be worth trying the Virgin box on the secondary scart socket on the TV (scarts have auto switching, the idea is the display picks up on a signal from the STB/DVD/VCR and changes channel automatically to the right scart socket when the device is turned on, if that plays up you can get the channel changing at random).
 
yeah thats a tv problem. either that or a problem with the virgin box which is causing it to keep sending the switching single through the scart socket.

you can turn the auto switching off on the virgin box as well, if you dont need it:)
 
Have you tried playing your Wii with the Virgin box switched off? That should stop the TV changing to the VM box; and save you some electricity! ;)

I don't think the Wii can even do auto-switching when in WiiConnect24 mode.
 
I've turned off the auto switch feature in the Virgin Media menu, doesn't seem to be any feature like this on the TV.

Hopefully that will solve the issue!
