me and my girlfriend are buying a wii for my 2 kids and her 1 kids xmas, its for the 3 of them to share, i have ordered a wii sports from germany so i assume it will have the 1 remote and nunchuck.

i want to know how many games the nunchuck is needed for, cause if we need a second nunchuck we need a second remote and nunchuck which can cost £50.

also are there any games that are suitable for 3 players, just wondering if its possible for the 3 kids to play at once, they are 9, 9 and 6.

cheers all

The only game that uses the nunchuck for Wii Sports is boxing. Hope you got a big living room :D.

They can play bowling together (although it's turns) also they could play tennis at the same time (upto 4 players).

cheers, the living roon is an ok size but not big :D

what kids games out there require the nunchuck, i wont be paying for games so i can aquire anything that would be good for them.

just wondering if its worth getting 2 extra remotes (3 total) or 1 extra wii and nunchuck (2 of each)

ideally it would be more peaceful if the 3 of them could play at once

Most of the party games support more players,
Monkeyball, wario ware, rayman raving rabbits

a couple of the games on monkeyball require a nunchuck but none of them on warioware or raving rabbits do

raving rabbits requires the nunchuck for the shooting mini game.

Warioware uses the nunchuk towards the last few levels, it is named the "Balance Stone" ingame =)

Brilliant game if you ask me, uses the Wiimote to its full potential. Heck, its had 6-8, 21+ year old lads all playing it (multiplayer knock out)

I would say its worth getting the full complement of controllers - as 4 player games are much easier with 4 actual Wiimotes :)

Mario Strikers is a good example of a fun competitve 4 player game !
