I am picking up a Wii tomorrow and I want to make sure I get the best possible batteries for the remotes!
I currently have some AA Uniross 2500 mAh rechargable batteries that I used to use in a digital camera - will these do?

Also, I think I'm eventually gonna get sick of peeling off the rubber surround on the remote to get the batteries out and charge them - can anyone recommend me a charger (ideally for 2 remotes) unit that can recharge them without having to take the batteries out or taking the rubber surround off?

Thanks in advance....

recharges two wii remotes at a time in 4 hours or 2 hours for just one. Also you don't have to remove the remote strap as a lot require you to do this, also you can unroll the rubber surround up so not taking it off totally. Also its independent charger (wall plug) so don't have to leave wii on or in standby mode. a lot of the cheap chargers take a lot longer also to charge and after reading a few reviews they wasn't much cop but i'm very happy with this one if a little expensive

I use 2600 mAh ones in my Wii remotes. Last much longer than the supplied batteries, lasted longer than the Duracells I used after too. They were only £8 from Asda too. :D

Stick with the rechargables I think, unless you really can't be bothered with charging them - in which case the dock Weebull recommended in your first thread would be a good choice. With regards the sillicon sleeves... don't use them anymore. I prefered the svelte feel of the Wii remotes without them on. I've kept them handy for parties etc, but I don't use them at all now.
