Wii & SD Memory Cards.

Hi.
I got myself a Fujifilm 1Gb 60x SD Memory Card today. I put it in my Wii, made backups of my save games, to see if it recognises, and it does.
The problem i have though, is that windows recognises the card, reads the card, but wont let me do anything to the card. Format, make files, make folders, ect;. Keeps saying its write protected when its not!?

Ideas?

Have you deleted all the Wii files? Try wiping it from the Wii first if not.

Stupid question, but... you have checked the position of the write protect tab on the card, yeah?

Sorry if that's a dumb question.

<edit> durrr... just re-read your post, and you said you can write to it from the Wii, so obviously it's not write protected. Sorry - think I need more caffeine.

Tryed wiping from the Wii then trying it.

The only thing that allowed me to write to it, was Ubuntu. V.odd.
