Wii Sports Resort table tennis question

So I decided to dig out sports resort and have a few goes on table tennis. I quickly got up to level 1500 beating every one no problem then I get to the champion Lucia. Is it even possible to beat her and if so has anyone here done it ? and was it just luck or is there a way to do it ? I am lucky to score just one point against her. No matter how many times I try to beat her she just returns everything I do then I lose

Yeah. It is possible. And after you've beaten her once, you'll beat her again quite quickly, though she'll win most of the games. I got to a point where I was beating her more often than me, but you need to play loads to keep that up!
