Wii stock situation?

[Quote removed]

I got one at the same shop but near the metrocentre gateshead yesterday.
They had a fairly large delivery.
The games were monster 4*4,pinball classics, super fruitfall and wii sports.
Its the same bundle that you got so will trade two of the games.
The bundle cost £249.
The whole family love the sports games and monster 4*4 is not bad.
I also have a 360 and think its great but the wii is a console where everyone in the family want to play.

Graphics really don't matter on the Wii.

I'm stupidly anal about picture quality. I get annoyed when I go round a friend's house and find that they've connected their Freeview box via composite rather than RGB

But I've had my Wii for 2 weeks now and I haven't once noticed any significant picture problems when using the bundled composite cable. The picture quality really is quite nice. And the in game graphics are great on the games that i've played. Sure it doesn't look like Gears of War, but I really don't care when the games are this fun.

The Wii is best regarded as either a console for people that just want to play with friends / family, or as a great partner console for the Xbox360.

It looked fine with Wii Sport until I play Zelda on my 18 years old tv, it was unacceptable! Everything looks much better and clearer once I connected it up with RGB cable, it is not something you would ignore. ;)
