Wii: Those new OFFICIAL "First Experience" Videos

TBH, if wii sports didn't come with the console, I wouldn't buy it, but after watching those videos, I really want to have a go at golf :)
 
That looks great but I am going to move my TV as my bed is right in front of it.

Nitendo are really sellling the Wii to the public.
 
I like the one of the American guy playing golf. I think that's how most people will approach it. The moment when he realises how it works is great.

I wonder how genuine these videos are though...
 
The worrying thing for me is how EASY they all seem to find it. Holeing puts, throwing strikes and winning rallys with their first attempts.

Now I'm hoping for that level of pick up and play so that my 7 year old doesn't get put off by the difficulty, but I'd be very dissapointed if there aren't other difficulty levels that make it a challenge to play...
 
I like the italian couple. You just know that woman is going to get a Wii beating when they get home for showing up her man in front of thousaunds, he looked like he had seen a ghost when she scored a strike. You could literally SEE his ego disintegrate.

On a serious note, really nice videos and I have to agree with the difficulty opinion. Baseball was the only one that seemed to cause problems. half of them were playing tennis 'by mistake. i hope it is easy to pick up and play but difficult to master, or you would have never-ending rallies.
 
well one thing i've learned from watching them vids is how much of a **** people are going to look waving about playing tennis on that thing :p
 
One thing i do worry about is lag, especially in that tennis game. There seems to be a half second lag between her swinging that controller to the sound of the racket hitting the ball.

Yes, that's what it's meant to be. Dunno if it was really their first try though.

Looks amazing fun, really should get my pre-order in sometime soon.

I did notice a bit of lag in the video with the french women, not so much with the other tennis clips.

Was funny watching them, they all start out with the most minimum movements, by the end, their arms are everywhere :p
