wii through 2407wfp?

hi im thinking about buying a dell 2407wfp, but have a slight reservation as to weather my wii will work with it. Im pretty sure it will plug in etc, but will it look silly in the widescreen aspect? are many games supporting this? Is the resolution of the monitor a problem? Any feedback would be great.

What inputs does the monitor have? If the Wii has component output, and the monitor component input, then I'd have thought it'll have widescreen and would look perfectly fine.

the monitor has vga, dvi, s video, composite video connector and component video connectors. not sure about the wii

From what I know about the Wii, I'm nearly certain it'll have Component output, so you'll be fine, though it'll probably be limited to 480p I believe.

yeah Wii is gonna be natively widescreen @ 480P.... though over here its 520P or summit because PAL includes the missing lines ??
read something like that.

either way it is native widescreen and SHOULD have component output.

Im in the same boat as you because theres a couple of gamecube games i fancy again i.e. mario sunshine, resident evil's etc..!
