Wii U controllers

Hi guys,

I bought a wii u last night got a good deal from argos premium pack with mario kart 8 and mario u for 220 so quite happy.

Question though im new to all this wii stuff been a ps follower for all my console gaming years. I know a lot of games would be better with the remote plus and nunchuk controllers but they are quite pricy browsing the bay there are plenty of knock off versions for much cheaper not sure I can link (?) but these seem to be popular and listed as compatible

Has anyone got any experience of the non nintendo branded controllers at a third of the price i'm worried about connectivity and durability

It's only Wii games that exclusively use a wiimote/nunchuck, WiiU games are compatible with all controllers so I wouldn't even bother with it and get a WiiU pro controller instead.
But if you have to, the 3rd party ones are still very good, I have a cheapo ASDA home brand one and never had a problem with it.

Personally I wouldn't touch unofficial Wiimotes and Nunchucks that's not to say there aren't some decent ones around but some of these Chinese efforts from eBay are truly awful.
Always nice to have them as an extra control option especially for the party games.
