Wii U external drive

Hello everyone,

Just posting a thread as I am looking for an external drive for my Wii U and I checked this link to see what the recommended ones are: http://bit.ly/1ySVX85 and was looking at the Toshiba one. Upon checking Amazon however I have seen a bunch of reviews that say that this drive is somewhat unreliable.

Can anyone here recommend an external drive that they are using for their Wii U? As a side note is it possible to save just save data onto the Wii U memory me actual games into the external drive?

I think any USB Hard drive should be OK my friend uses a USB flash memory stick. From my experience with hard drives I recommend Western digital they have never let me down. Touch wood....
