Wii U Owners

i have had my wii u boxed up for a month now. i was thinking of trading but i might give monster hunter demo one last try shame they did not make it online to try with your friends.

it looks like capcom are putting voice chat in also incorporated in the gamepad which is a plus.here is a review

i have not really played my wii since zombie u due to the fact the big hitters are not getting released straight away and even the 3rd party games eg FC3 & crysis 3 are not even getting made :(

just wish ea and ubisoft took a look at what criterion done with need for speed most wanted they used pc textures and made it look and run better than on a 360 or ps3.

ubisoft have been fairly supportive, apart from the whole raymans legends decision, but i guess that just made good business sense. EA however have been diabolical, and have rarely supported ninty consoles as well as the other two.

Then again I'm quite bias, as i just plain hate EA and hope they go bust and sell their IPs to other developers.

So Broken Record is here in a Wii U owners thread, shocking :D

He moans there is no 3rd party games, then when a 3rd party game is announced he pans it.

Sorry I didn't realise ports of 18 month old games was a good thing, when there's next to no ports of games actually being released this year.

It all depends on how well they do it. I never played it first time round so if the Wii U features are done well, it might be a game I purchase. I don't imagine they view it as a system seller. If the Wii U is easy to convert games to we might find more of this happening.

Of course, Nintendo need system sellers.

No idea why they thought this was a good idea, it's likely going to sell horribly, mainly because it's coming out so much later than the original and at full price.

This a strange decision, I would assume that anyone who likes the series has already played it. Even if they release it at a reduced price say £30 then that would still be a lot as its available on other consoles for £10 and I've seen the PC version for £5. I can't imagine the potential sales would justify an expensive development so it's probably going to be a fixed boss port that has some sort of interaction with the wii U controller.

I just bought a WiiU after watching/reading some Lego City Undercover reviews. I've been tempted by ZombiU for a while and the girl friend will love Super Mario Bros.

Monster Hunter also looks good but i'm gonna try out the demo first.. if there is one?

There is a demo but it's not that great a rep of the game. If you haven't played a MH game before you really need the tutorial and gradual build up as it's not an easy game. The eurgamer review is worth a look at as well.

im hopeful that when nintendo do a price drop it will do well. my opinion is that the good games are starting to show up now and by christmas it will be more affordable for familys.

the people in my family who have a wii is a lot but hardly any of them know what a wii u is.

You're right...it just throws you in there with no explanation...go hunt a monster :p

Glad sales are picking up...I just wish Nintendo set the European prices in the first place and I doubt it'd be in this situation. Allowing the retailers to set the price made the thing well overpriced. :(
