Wii via VGA

With a Wii hooked up to your monitor with one of the PS3/Wii VGA cables, how does the quality compare to component on a tv?

Would this setup work?

PC To VGA
Xbox and PS3 to HDMI with HDMI switchbox
DVI To Wii

why not make PC --> DVI and Wii -->VGA unless you get vga to dvi converter for wii

Is it a DVI-I port on your monitor (will it accept a VGA signal)?

Edit: No it's not.

PS3 > HDMI
360 & Wii > VGA via VGA switch (less than a tenner)
PC > DVI

That's how I would do it, but the PS3 and 360 via HDMI would be fine too.

Isn't DVI better quality than VGA? The PC has no video card and is not used for gaming, so the pc needs the lesser quality.
