P:confused:eeps i have purchased a wii, and tonight get to try it out.
now why would i need a sd memory card??.
what should I get, and what are these memory expansion things, do i need anything else, i have a nunchuck and a remote.

??????

The internal memory is more than enough for what you need IMO, unless you go and download every VC game or something.

2 sets of rechargeable batteries... then you can charge one whilst using t'other.

What games did you get with it? If you're likely to download some of the old N64 games from the Virtual Console, then you're going to need either a Gamecube controller of the new-fangled "Classic Controller".

Aye, the recharging battery pack things are well worth a look, typical rechargable batteries don't seem to last very long in the Wii controllers, but the rechargable pack and charger I got for £10 seem to do quite well. You can get ones that charge one or two controllers, and from the plug or from USB on the back of the Wii.

Games wise I'd recommend:
Metroid Prime (based on the rest of the series)
Zelda (just awesome if you like adventure games)
Godfather (If you don't mind ps2-esque graphics)
Mario Strikers
Resident Evil 4
Super Paper Mario
