Wii Virtual Console service - Could be better?

Ok, its a great retro fix... but really, Nintendo could do a lot more with the service, maybe they will, maybe they wont, who knows.

For example, why not make the Virtual Console games online multiplayer with at least high score leaderboards.

When the Online service is launched, we shall see.. but if they dont do something like the above, I think its very disappointing, considering the cost of the VC games not exactly being "Budget" compared to Mortal Kombat 2 on the PS3 only being $5 with a leaderboard.

yeh thats the thing that annoys me with the wii vc, the prices are awkward and a bit high

The games are expensive. I wouldn't mind so much but you can't download a demo so it's either take a chance or don't bother at all with those games you don't know much about. I do wish they would get more N64 games on there though.
