Wii Virtual Console Vs Gamecube Disc

I am looking to pick up Zelda Majora's Mask soon and there are 2 ways to go about it. I could either buy it from the Wii virtual console store, or buy it on the Zelda Collectors Edition disc for Gamecube.

I am trying to find comparisons between the 2, frame rate, resolution etc, but have come across no comparisons.

Has anyone?
 
So that means that the Virtual Console version also has sound and freezing issues?
 
The Stone of Agony rumble function is missing in the VC release just like OoT. You would need a wired GC pad for it. The saves are a bit easier to back up on VC
