I have standby connection turned off as it stops the auto switching of scart channels when turning the wii on / off. For some reason though it won't let me look at the weather channel, saying wiiconnect24 is turned off even though it is on. The only way i can get it to work is to turn on standby connection. Anyone else have this problem?

There is an option for wiiconnect24 with a sub option for connect when on standby. As far as i'm concerned wiiconnect24 is turned on, especially as i'm only trying to access it when it is turned on. I assumed it would just do it's thing while i was playing.
