Wiimote charging docks

Can anyone recomend one of the charging docks that are avalible? There seems to be a few about.

A recent stint of high usage has put a strain on my battery budget. lol

I just use a bog-standard battery charger... and have a spare set that I swap out when I need to recharge. It'll be cheaper than the docking station thingies.

I've always wondered why does it state in the instruction manual not to use rechargeable batteries? Are Nintendo getting a bung from Duracell or something.

I use the Joytech wii power station and think its great!

Also have the Joytech one and it is superb, looks sleek does the job and keeps my motes charged at all time with minimal fuss.

Quite often they say not to use rechargeables as sometimes they don't work with some kit.

It's usually because most rechargeable AA batteries are only 1.2v, not 1.5v.

I use the Uniross Hybrio rechargeables as they don't lose their charge if you don't play with the Wii console for a while. I've been very impressed with them so far.

And last about twice as long per charge.
