I am really tempted to get myself a WiiU, I like the way Nintendo offers something else with its gaming, something simple and fun but I just cant seem to find a good enough reason to believe I will get value for money.

I currently have a gaming PC and a PS3 so games such as Aliens colonial marines will be played on my PC, Fifa will be played on the PS3 and I cant see a great deal of WiiU must buy games coming out anytime soon? - maybe im wrong.

WiiU gamers, are you happy with the console or does the luxury wear off after two days leaving the machine to collect dust while you go back and play your PC, xbox, ps3, whatever.

Nintendoland, Mario and ZombieU all look decent but what else has it really got to offer?

Advise from WiiU owners would be great!

Wait for a while until some games come out. Most of them are just ports of 360/PS3 games, Mario or Zombie U right now and I can see an official price drop coming so waiting would seem the best option.

I spent a few days playing the Wii U at a friends and came away more impressed than expected. Not really due to the new pad - although the pro pad is excellent and possibly the best out there - but because the Mario game is easily the best of the NSMB series and because Zombie U was great fun. Nintendoland is fun if you have a bunch of people together too, although I wouldn't consider it for just one or two people. All in all I half regretted cancelling my preorder.

As soon as a few big hitters come out - can't wait for Bayonetta 2 and the next 3D Mario - and the price drops, it will be a no brainer.

I'm back to the pc now with torchlight 2 and sleeping dogs but in March when Monster Hunter comes out I'll be on that as I'm still playing the wii copy today! Massive also will be Dragon quest 10 online, hopefully it'll be like 8 but with other players too. Only stuff that does not come out on anything else will be worthy of justifying the purchase because you are at least guaranteed to be able to use just a regular pad with other systems which i prefer, always worried about being forced to use a wiimote for some stuff. (I HATE wiimotes! left handed movement and right handed torchmoving in Silent hill origins makes me cry because apart from that I love it)

as soon as there's a decent price drop i'll be getting one, wanted one as soon as I heard about them at the start of the year but the 300+ pricetag put me off

Yeah it's good, so far this launch I've had way more fun than I had with the 360 and PS3 launch put together. And that's coming from a staunch pc gamer.

Ive enjoyed it so far. Playing Cod while others watch tv or while im in bed is a great addition. Zombie U is a unique take on survival horror and well Mario is Mario.

If i had a PC and Other console i wouldnt spend 300 quid on this but seeing as i dont i think it was a good buy.

Id wait until a price drop and more games.

We got a Wii U just over a week ago, love it lol. Games are really fun, the gamepad does add an extra element to the games, especially multiplayer with you and a friend able to play together on separate screens on one system, or you can just use the screen and let someone else watch TV.

Love being able to play Black Ops 2 on the small screen so the misses or kids use the TV I can kill some zombies lol. Yeah somehow the Wii U even made a COD game fun ! All the games so far have all been very good. Zombie U has the best visuals, a step up from the Xbox 360 or PS3. I understand that Zombie U was developed ground up for Wii u whereas other games are just straight lazy ports lol. It shows with Zombie U, very impressive for such a small console. I will take a guess and say the Wii U is being pushed nowhere near it's potential yet.

The console itself looks cool on shelf in the lounge. It's literally tiny, doesn't get hot or anything. Our Xbox 360 puts out some serious heat during gaming and that's like Revision 4 of the Xbox 360. Nintendo def got a good balance of performance VS power use and aesthetics with the Wii U.

Imho PC plus Wii U is the best combo for the next few years, most of the games that land on the upcoming Xbox 720 and PS4 will be released on the PC aswell, you can bet Zelda HD and the next Mario games will only be playable on the Wii U :p.
