Hi all, can someone please point me to a guide that shows you how to do wikipedia-style references in Microsoft word? I mean with the [1],[2] etc...then the list at the bottom of the article, thx

You could type [1] and [2] etc after the word and change it to superscript. I'm assuming if printing off, links won't be required.
If not then i'm sure you can hyperlink it somehow...

No point doing it manually like that when Word has a built-in References Manager.

Indeed, that feature alone was worth the money I paid for Office 2007 back when I was at uni. Took a bit of time to add stuff to it, but it saved so much time in return.

I used a mac prog called papers. Everything I read through it was automatically catalogged, so I could just export the refs to word ready for citation or adding to the bibliography. Papers also had support for all my uni's academic repositories. I saved so much time with that combo.
