Wil Wheaton's Tabletop

What are the cream of the crop competitive games for 3-5 people?

We've been playing Ticket to Ride and Settlers of Catan at home and enjoying them, but my game buying budget is not limitless so I'd like to just get some of the best games I can get, probably want to wind up with 2-3 more games.

If you are definitely always playing with 3 - 5, and want things with a similar level of complexity to TTr and Catan, I'd consider lords of waterdeep and camel up!, both are great games. Lords Of Waterdeep is improved by the expansion, but playing the base game first is probably the best way to start.

I just watched the dragon age episode and thought that would be perfect for me and my friends to have ago at our first RPG but I cannot find a decently priced copy in the UK :(

Not sure if your into starwars, but the RPG rule set is amazing.

We started with Edge of the Empire stuff, now moving onto the Rebelion / Force stuff.

The starters sets are imo the best out there for new RPG players.

This season, I wanted to play games that were accessible to families, indie games, more RPGs, and at least one or two games that broke the rules I usually use to choose games. We start filming in a few days, and the season will be released starting in June or July. And because I know it’s going to end up being a FAQ: Titansgrave’s second season is in development right now. We’re aiming to film it in a couple of months, and release it in Autumn.

I hope there’s at least one thing here that you’re looking forward to, and PLAY MORE GAMES!!

really enjoy the show although sometimes it does seem a bit forced.

looking forward to seeing a few of those in particular; Flashpoint, Eldritch Horror and Welcome to the Dungeon as they are all games I have on my amazon wish list with plans to eventually pick up one day.

Wil Wheaton (Twitter) Because it's a FAQ: We planned to release S04 of @Tabletop in July, but Legendary pushed release to later this year. No date at the moment.
