I had an unknown one in the garden for a few weeks. Wasn't sure what it was and I think it's Ox-Eye which is great as I thought about buying some and the little buggers self seeded from somewhere in the area instead

Ox-eye daisy, aye

Easy to see now as a few have opened up:

Another one not quite there yet :)

Buttercups doing well too now. Its quite nice seeing them all taking turns... Flowering and then dying back only to be taken over by other types as things go on (Bluebells for example dont last long)

And, although not really wildflower - Hopefully these continue to grow and fruit well - Red Falstaff

The Pear tree didnt fruit yet but both are only 3 years old now (this is their 3rd year) so quite surprised I got anything at all on them.

Roadside verges are full of ox eye daisies around here just now they're flowering en masse wish I had a camera

Yeah I pass a banking on my way to work and it's transitioned from swathes or Bluebells into swathes of Red Campion and now it's the turn of swathes of Ox-Eye Daisy...

Really is nice seeing how it changes as the earlies give way to the later.

Every time wife goes out she comes back with a bunch of cow parsley - trims them down and put's them in pots with bought flowers - She does like bunches of flowers around the house.
The garden borders are really doing well at moment -She was pleased to see 4 Poppies in middle of her plants and said she didn't plant/seed it but we did have Poppies in field at end of back garden last year so probably self seeded.
